Denny Hamlin wins at Dover International Speedway

Denny Hamlin took the lead late in the going of Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway and captured his sixth win of 2020.

Hamlin led the way for a 1-2-3 finish for Team Toyota at the Monster Mile with Martin Truex Jr. in second and Kyle Busch in third. Today’s Cup Series victory marked the 150th time a Toyota Camry made the trip to the Cup Series victory lane since joining NASCAR’s uppermost echelon of racing in 2007.

“I’ve been running down the leaders these last few weeks, but I haven’t been able to get there,” Hamlin said. “We just didn’t control that restart there and we just had to battle back. We had to go back and get it. I was able to work the top line there a little bit to get the momentum. It looked like our car was just a little bit better at moving around to different lines.” DENNY HAMLIN
